I guess that's that's the way to pronounce it. So Ishan is a student from Mexico. He is currently doing an exchange here at NC State University. And today we'll be talking about his exchange journey. And a little bit about his background and his travel experience. So without further ado, a Shawn, welcome to the studio. Hey, man, thanks for having me here. Absolutely. So, very excited to have this conversation with you. And I would be very interested to start off by asking you about the origins of your exchange journey or your education abroad, because as far as I know, the US is not your first experience abroad. Exactly. Yeah. So how about you share with me in the audience? The maybe the first experience abroad, your first experience pursuing an education abroad? And how how it started? Okay, so basically, I should start first by explaining, like, where I come from, like, where are my parents from and everything. So, I'd say, um, first, my, my mother is French. She was she's from the south of France. And my father is Ben as well. And actually, he's from Caracas. And I was born in Paris. And then when I was little, we moved to Mexico. And this is where I grew up. Like I lived there for more than eight years. So this is like my country. Wow. And so the first let's say, experience going abroad, so like away from home, which is for me, Mexico, was going to Oxford, actually in the UK. Because basically, I've been following my mom ever since. So she like changes jobs and everything. So we moved like four from Mexico to Oxford, like 18 months. So I learned English there. I live. This was like the first time I traveled and

change the My way of life, let's say. So this was like the first episode of long series of travels and moving around leaving in somewhere somewhere else. So we went to Oxford. Then another big change. We went from Oxford to Jerusalem. Jerusalem. Yeah. Wow. That's a big change. You go from cold weather to very warm weather. That's so so we went there for two years, I lived in Jerusalem for two years. I was studying in the French school there.
